About Quikaid:

Quikaid is a Social Security disability representation firm based in Saint Petersburg, FL. Established in 1993, we offer legal services to clients across the United States. As a well-managed and rapidly growing company, we provide a dynamic and engaging work environment.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a Document Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in St. Petersburg. In this essential role, you will ensure efficient office operations by managing document processing, mail handling, and supporting multiple departments. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating attention to detail, organization, and a proactive mindset.

Responsibilities:

The Document Specialist plays a vital role in keeping office operations organized and efficient by managing incoming and outgoing mail, processing documents, and supporting multiple departments. Responsibilities include:

Opening, sorting, and distributing daily mail.
Identifying, scanning, and accurately uploading documents into client claims.
Sorting voicemails, missed calls, and emails to ensure timely attention by the appropriate department.
Printing and preparing documents for internal use or outgoing mail.
Filing applications, appeals, and other documents online.
Adding medical records to client claims and routing invoices to the correct department for payment.
Maintaining and managing inventory of office and mailroom supplies.
Ensuring all documents and mail are handled securely and in compliance with company policies.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. with daily bonuses available for strong performers. Typically, these bonuses can add an additional $0.50 to $4 per hour in earnings.

This is a full-time position with a Monday – Friday schedule. During the Orientation Period, the hours will be 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with schedule flexibility available after reaching your Benefit Eligibility Date. Reliable transportation to our St. Petersburg office is required.

Qualifications:

Experience in a professional environment, such as a law firm, insurance company, or medical practice.
Positive attitude with a professional demeanor, demonstrating strong and accurate communication and computer skills.
High-energy team player who is enthusiastic, friendly, and outgoing.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute (typingtest.com can be used for self-assessment).
Familiarity with office equipment and document management systems, with the ability to handle confidential information accurately.
A proactive and resourceful mindset, with a focus on identifying opportunities, solving problems, and implementing solutions.

15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year during their first five years of employment, increasing to 20 days after five years and 22.5 days after ten years. PTO may be used for vacation, personal, or sick time.
All Federal holidays as paid holidays. Currently, there are 11 paid Federal holidays, though this number may be updated if new holidays are established.
Birthday Celebration Day (BCD): One paid 8-hour holiday annually for your birthday; available after completion of the New Employee Orientation Period.
401(k)-retirement plan with a 6% company match. For every dollar you contribute, we will match up to 6% of your compensation.
Fun celebrations, including company-sponsored contests, birthday bonuses ($100 on your birthday), work anniversary bonuses ($100 for each year of employment, for example, on your 3rd anniversary, you will receive $300), and various other celebrations throughout the year. Additional Information:

The start date for this position is August 24th, 2026. This date is non-negotiable as training begins on that date.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a background check and drug test prior to the start date.
The interview process includes meeting 1-2 members of senior management onsite and an aptitude assessment.
