Full Job Description

La Clinica de Familia (LCDF) is an FQHC with several locations in Southern New Mexico. For over 40 years, we have provided services to the residents of Southern New Mexico. Job Description:

Verifies and posts transactions to journals, ledgers and other records. Maintains current vendor files, issuance of non-taxable transaction certificates, W-9's and helps with fixed asset listing. Under general supervision performs various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of the finance department.

Core Competencies:

Basic accounting practices, principles, and Fund Accounting.
Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Knowledge of accounts payable principles and/or procedures.
Ability to use an automated accounting system.
Basic data entry and or word processing skills.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office programs and accounting programs (Abila preferred).
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all employees and groups.
High attention to detail and high organizational skills.
Excellent math skills.
Basic knowledge of General Ledger.
Good communication skills; verbal and written.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma with three-years of experience in accounting or related field.
