Position Title: Resin Pouring Specialist

OverView:

As a Resin Pouring Specialist, you will play a key role in crafting high-quality, one-of-a-kind designs that capture our clients’ visions. Your responsibilities will include preparing and mixing resin, pouring it into various molds, and working with preserved flowers to create floral-infused resin pieces. This position requires experience in resin art, flower preservation (such as silica gel drying techniques), and a strong attention to detail.

This is a hands-on role for a creative individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional craftsmanship. If you have experience with resin pouring, flower drying, and creating unique designs, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and mix resin, ensuring accurate measurements and incorporation of materials (e.g., flowers, pigments, dyes, glitter) according to project specifications.
Dry and preserve flowers using techniques such as cleaning and treating flowers with silica gel, ensuring they are properly prepared for resin pouring.
Pour resin into various molds, including custom and intricate designs, while ensuring precision and minimizing bubbles, inconsistencies, or imperfections.
Manage and organize materials, including resin, molds, flowers, and decorative items, ensuring a well-stocked and tidy workspace.
Follow specific client project requirements, creating pieces that align with design expectations and timelines.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment, such as heat guns, torches, and mixers, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
Monitor resin curing process and perform finishing touches, including sanding, polishing, or assembling components as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and best practices for handling resin and related materials.
Collaborate with the team to brainstorm new designs and improve production techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in resin mixing and pouring, with a strong portfolio of completed resin-based projects.
Flower Preparation: Familiarity with flower cleaning and preservation techniques, including the use of silica gel, for creating floral-infused resin pieces.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with resin and related tools (e.g., molds, torches, heat guns). Knowledge of different resin types and their applications.
Attention to Detail: Ability to pour resin with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to client specifications.
Creativity: Strong eye for design and willingness to contribute to innovative project ideas.
Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and working with resin materials.
Organization: Strong time-management and multitasking skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safe handling practices for resin, including the use of gloves, masks, and proper ventilation. Willingness to wear PPE - (gloves, masks etc) for safety purposes is a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with custom mold-making or creating molds for resin projects.
In-depth knowledge of flower drying and preservation techniques, including best practices for silica gel application.
Familiarity with floral arrangement and design for resin-based projects.
Experience with sanding, polishing, and finishing techniques for resin products.
