The Role

We are looking for an Accounting Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of our accounting and job setup processes.

This role focuses on accurate job setup, financial data entry, and coordination across systems and departments. You will work within accounting systems and processes designed by senior accounting leadership and will be trusted to manage your responsibilities independently while communicating proactively when questions or issues arise.

This is an important support role that helps keep the business running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Set up jobs and customers accurately in JobNimbus and QuickBooks
Enter and maintain job, customer, and financial data with care and attention to detail
Review purchase orders for accuracy and completeness
Confirm that received materials match purchase orders and job needs
Support accurate job costing through precise data entry
Identify missing or inconsistent information and communicate it promptly
Work collaboratively with sales, scheduling, and operations teams
Keep office and system records organized and up to date

What This Role Is Not

This role does not create accounting systems or policies, but it does assist
This role does not manage other team members, but it does interact

It is a focused execution role with clear structure and expectations.

Qualifications

Experience in accounting support, financial administration, or a similar role
Comfortable working with software-based systems (QuickBooks experience preferred)
Strong organizational and follow-through skills
Experience in construction or job-costing environments is helpful but not required

This role works closely with senior accounting leadership and relies on clear communication, trust, and alignment.
