Job Description

The part-time Brand Ambassador will be assigned to Arizona, with a primary focus in and around the Phoenix area - and will coordinate with the Field Marketing Manager. You will work in partnership with the local sales team to support identified retailers, ensuring a strong retail presence for all Botanica brands. As Brand Ambassador, you are the face, eyes and ears of the organization in retail stores. In this role, you will be in stores daily to assess how our brands are presented and to engage enthusiastically with our retail customers, their staff, and customers. You will support these doors with consistent vendor days, retail assessment and enablement, consistent administration, and various other promotional activities. All retail engagements will be scheduled ahead of time in coordination with the Field Marketing Manager and in support of sales. This is a field position that requires consistent travel, and strong communication, organizational skills, administrative clarity, and flexibility. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, an excitement to learn and share more about Botanica brands, and an understanding of the Arizona geography and dynamics.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Field Marketing Manager to complete planned monthly marketing activities in identified retail stores, including but not limited to executing vendor days, placing permanent and temporary signage and merchandising, supporting product training and budtender education, and dropping marketing materials.
Support a robust vendor day calendar and execution of the vendor day itself with an eye to catering to both the retail staff as well as consumers through strong product education and dynamic displays.
Deploy marketing assets, adhering to the brand standards both in the overall look as well as tracking behaviors. Maintain a living inventory of all assets to ensure the brands can meet the demand of target retailers.
Prepare for Vendor Days by confirming the event two weeks prior performing online menu audits, checking inventory, and problem solving for any potential issues.
Report to Field Marketing Manager competitive activity, budtender, manager and customer feedback on Botanica brands.
Track and clearly articulate behaviors in the field through consistent reporting and administrative detail.
Complete Perfect Store Audits assessing sales and marketing KPIs in retail

Requirements

Expected engagement volume is approximately 10–20 hours per week with room to grow to full time depending on our needs- includes some weekend work.
Must be based in Arizona, preferably in or near the Phoenix metro area.
Must be over the age of 21 years old
FA Card (Facility Agent Application Card) required for role, already having is preferred.
Must be able to lift 40 lbs
Must be a fully licensed driver with their own means of transportation
Ability to operate within the compliant and legal market
Experience within cannabis a plus
Strong analytical skills - we are a data driven organization
Proficiency with G Suite tools (G sheet, G Meet, Calendar, etc.)

This role is structured as an independent contractor (1099) engagement. Contractors operate as independent businesses and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and business expenses unless otherwise agreed.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
