WebNX is looking for a reliable, experienced Facilities Janitor & Handyman to keep our Ogden data center and office facility clean, safe, and well-maintained. This is a full-time, non-exempt role for someone who takes pride in their work, does not need to be told twice, and is comfortable splitting their time between custodial duties and light maintenance tasks. If you show up consistently, work independently, and have a good eye for when something needs attention, this job is a strong fit.
This position is fully on-site at our Ogden, Utah headquarters.

Key Responsibilities
Custodial & Cleaning
- Perform daily cleaning of all facility areas including offices, restrooms, common areas, hallways, and break rooms - sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain floors through regular buffing, polishing, and care appropriate to floor type.
- Clean and restock restrooms and supply areas throughout the day as needed.
- Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility and transport to designated disposal areas.
- Perform exterior cleaning, including building perimeter, fence lines, entryways, and parking areas in all weather conditions.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or spills to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly, maintained, and stored safely after each use.
- Track supply inventory and notify supervisor when items need to be restocked or reordered.
Light Handyman & Maintenance Assistance
- Assist the Maintenance team with light repair and upkeep tasks - patching and painting walls, replacing light bulbs, fixing door hardware, and other general handyman work.
- Help with furniture moves, equipment staging, and general physical labor as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, caulking, and minor fixture repairs.
- Set up and break down spaces for team events, meetings, or special projects.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Support the maintenance team on larger projects as needed.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all health, safety, and OSHA regulations at all times.
- Handle cleaning chemicals and hazardous materials in compliance with MSDS guidelines and company safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment throughout every shift.
- Wear appropriate PPE as required for specific tasks.
General
- Complete other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may evolve as the company grows and operational needs change.
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in custodial, janitorial, warehouse cleaning, and light facilities maintenance.
- Demonstrated handyman skills - comfortable with basic repairs, painting, hardware replacement, and general upkeep.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods, chemical handling (MSDS), and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently without close supervision and manage your own daily schedule.
- Reliable and punctual - this role is the backbone of our facility's appearance and safety.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues before they become problems.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Preferred
- Experience in a warehouse, industrial, or data center environment.
- Familiarity with floor care equipment - buffers, auto-scrubbers, wet/dry vacuums.
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical knowledge a plus.
- Experience with forklift, scissor lift.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs. with assistance on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and work above shoulders for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures - this is a data center environment with heat ranging from 60°F to 110°F in certain areas.
- Ability to work in noisy environments and wear hearing protection as required.
- Motor coordination required for operating cleaning and maintenance equipment safely.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, anywhere between 8am and 6pm. The schedule can be worked out during the hiring process.
- Full-time position, 40 hours/week.
Benefits & Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $16.00-$18.00, depending on experience.
