Position Overview
The Food & Beverage Coordinator is responsible for the consistent nightly operation of Nightmare on 13th's concessions stand throughout the seasonal operating season.
Unlike other concessions team members who may rotate or work limited schedules, the Food & Beverage Coordinator is expected to be present every operating night and serve as the primary consistent team member within the stand.
This is a hands-on position. The Coordinator will work a designated concessions position every night while also helping oversee the flow of the stand, supporting other team members, maintaining product and service standards, and assisting wherever needed.
The Food & Beverage Coordinator reports directly to the Courtyard Lead and upper management and helps ensure that the concessions operation is prepared, clean, stocked, organized, and ready for each night's operation.
Nightly Responsibilities
The Food & Beverage Coordinator will:
- Work inside the concessions stand every operating night.
- Be trained and capable of performing all five concessions positions.
- Work at least one designated position each night while assisting other positions as needed.
- Help keep the concessions team organized and operating efficiently throughout the night.
- Help identify and resolve minor operational issues before escalating them to the Courtyard Lead or upper management.
- Make sure products are being prepared and served consistently.
- Help maintain appropriate product levels and communicate restocking or inventory needs.
- Assist concessions team members during busy periods or when additional support is needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe concessions environment.
- Communicate equipment problems, inventory shortages, staffing concerns, guest issues, or other operational problems to the Courtyard Lead.
- Assist with nightly opening and closing procedures.
Concessions Positions
The Food & Beverage Coordinator must be fully trained and capable of working all five positions within the stand:
Order
Take guest orders, operate the point-of-sale system, process payments, answer basic guest questions, and accurately communicate orders to the rest of the concessions team.
Pick Up
Organize completed orders, verify accuracy, distribute orders to guests, and help keep orders moving efficiently during busy periods.
Drinks
Prepare Nightmare on 13th specialty drinks, maintain proper portions and recipes, restock supplies, and keep the drink station clean and organized.
Donut Machine
Safely operate the donut machine, monitor production and product quality, maintain proper output during busy periods, and keep the equipment and surrounding area clean.
Donut Prep
Prepare, finish, portion, package, and restock donuts and related products while maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
Pre-Operation Responsibilities
The Food & Beverage Coordinator must also be available for scheduled preparation work before Nightmare on 13th opens for the night.
Pre-operation responsibilities may include:
- Preparing blood bags.
- Preparing drink mixes.
- Preparing donut mix.
- Preparing and portioning other concessions ingredients.
- Restocking cups, packaging, ingredients, and supplies.
- Setting up individual concessions stations.
- Checking inventory and identifying items that need to be replenished.
- Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.
- Making sure the concessions stand is fully prepared before guests arrive.
- Completing other food and beverage preparation tasks as needed.
Availability Requirements
This position requires a full-season commitment.
The Food & Beverage Coordinator must:
- Be available every Nightmare on 13th operating night during the seasonal operating season.
- Be available for scheduled pre-operation preparation shifts.
- Be available evenings, nights, weekends, and applicable holidays throughout the season.
- Arrive on time and remain for the entirety of scheduled shifts.
- Have dependable transportation to and from work.
Because this position provides consistency and support for the entire food and beverage operation, dependable attendance is an essential requirement of the job.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Be highly dependable, punctual, and consistent.
- Be comfortable taking additional responsibility beyond that of a standard concessions team member.
- Be able to learn and confidently perform all five concessions positions.
- Be willing to move between positions and help wherever needed.
- Be able to recognize problems and either resolve them or communicate them to management.
- Work well with different team members throughout the season.
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with periods of high guest volume.
- Provide friendly and professional guest service.
- Follow recipes, measurements, preparation procedures, food safety requirements, and operating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization without requiring constant direction.
- Be comfortable handling food, beverages, cleaning products, cash, and concessions equipment.
Previous food service, concessions, restaurant, retail, supervisory, or customer service experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, reach, lift, carry, and perform repetitive tasks throughout a shift.
- Work around hot food preparation equipment.
- Lift and carry typical concessions inventory and supplies.
- Work in a loud, busy seasonal entertainment environment.

Continued employment and scheduling throughout the season are dependent on attendance, reliability, performance, and operational needs.
Pay: $10.00 - $125.00 per day
