We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Physical Rehab Technician to join our team. This is an active, hands-on position that allows you to work directly with patients while supporting our providers in delivering individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans.

We believe in setting our employees up for success. We provide hands-on, on-the-job training, including patient communication and scripting, treatment techniques, equipment use, and certification for applicable modalities. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow within a supportive healthcare environment.

Position Overview

The Physical Rehab Technician works closely with our providers to assist with patient treatments and rehabilitation services according to the provider's plan of care. This position plays an important role in creating a positive patient experience and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout their treatment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, compassionate, and comfortable working in an active clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Assist providers with implementing individualized patient treatment plans.
Perform therapeutic modalities and treatments as directed by the provider.
Supervise patients using balance and rehabilitation equipment.
Assist with positioning and safely setting up patients on decompression and other treatment tables.
Educate patients on proper terminology, body mechanics, and treatment procedures as directed.
Monitor patients throughout treatment and communicate any concerns or changes to the provider.
Report patient responses to treatment, including changes in pain levels, mobility, physical abilities, or tolerance.
Provide compassionate and attentive patient care throughout each visit.
Operate therapeutic equipment and modalities as directed, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, hot/cold therapy, and other rehabilitation equipment.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe treatment areas.
Clean and properly maintain equipment and treatment areas according to office procedures.
Assist with patient flow and daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients, providers, and team members.
Follow HIPAA, safety, and office policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, fitness, or patient-care setting preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to patient care.
Dependable and reliable with consistent attendance.
Ability to follow instructions and learn new treatments, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work well with patients, providers, and team members.
Comfortable working in an active clinical environment.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
