Full Job Description

Our company is hiring again ! Looking for flexible hours and ability to make your own schedule ? This is a great opportunity for someone looking for part time/ full time position . Experience is preferred however will train the right person - Personality matters and MUST be a team player . This can be either 2 part time postitions or 1 full time postion

Starting pay is based on experience and what you bring to the table ! What are you worth ? Range $18-$26 per hour

We want a Rock Star with the " can do " attitude and able to adapt to the ups and downs of healthcare with the ability to move from one task to another easily

Office is in Falmouth , however once trained and able to work independently, I would be willing to offer work at home a day or two at home

ME Medical Consultant Group is looking for an experienced Medical Collections and Billing Specialist to work on charge posting and Account Receivables, including incoming correspondence, denials, appeals, and work with Insurance Companies. Candidate must understand key payer portals. Experience in eligibility and collections of all insurances. Managed Care Plans, PPO, HMO's Medicaid, Medicare, and patient private. Ability to work ALL unprocessed claims, denials, and correspondences for all payers.

Below are the job responsibilities :

Comprehension of denials and claim re-submission process.
Familiar with all insurance appeal processes, forms, and portals.
Able to work with little supervision, must be a self-starter.
Ability to assist patients with questions on their account balances.
Ability to trouble shoot clearing house errors/rejections.
Ability to tackle multiple billing systems
Knowledge of ICD10 and CPT codes
Customer service skills are required as you will interact with patients and other provider offices

This is a great part time job for someone who is approaching retirement, moms who need flexible schedule or those who want to supplement their income. Please expect multiple interviews and reference checks. This is a contract position with yearly 1099.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Medical billing: 3 years (Preferred)
