About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, versatile Part-Time Event Assistant to support our weekend operations and elevate our venue's online presence. In this hands-on support role, your primary focus will be driving social media marketing alongside active, on-site event support—including setup, breakdown, and assisting with bartending during events.

This is an entry-to-mid-level assistant position with significant room for professional growth. As our event schedule expands, additional hours will become available for the right candidate, and we actively hope to find someone who wants to grow alongside our team.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Marketing: Create, schedule, and maintain engaging content across active social channels to promote upcoming events, highlight venue features, and boost overall online visibility.
Setup & Breakdown: Lead physical event preparation, including arranging seating and equipment according to layout plans, and ensuring complete venue breakdown and reset following event conclusions.
Event & Bar Support: Provide hands-on operational support during active hours, including assisting with bartending, maintaining service standards, and addressing real-time event needs.
Logistics & Administration: Coordinate event timelines with management and track operational requirements for upcoming weekend functions.

Qualifications & Schedule Requirements

Availability: Must be consistently available to work Friday and Saturday nights.
Marketing Experience: Proven experience with social media content creation, basic marketing strategy, and platform management.
Event Support Skills: Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment handling setup/breakdown, bartending, and physical venue tasks.
Growth Mindset: Strong organizational skills, a high level of reliability, and a strong desire to take on more responsibility as the venue grows.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
