Full Job Description

This is a 40 hour/week, school year position (with a few additional days prior to start of school year and at the end of the school year). This position is benefits eligible. This is a busy office environment serving the students, staff and Windham Primary School community. Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google products are required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; judgment and initiative; excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; the aptitude to work independently and good customer service skills required. Candidates must also have a strong background in financial transactions and account reconciliation. The following is a listing of some of the anticipated duties of this position. This is not an inclusive listing: 1.

Daily organization of the operation of the school office2. Make appointments for building administrators3. Facilitate special administrative projects and presentation coordination4. Assemble materials, prepare reports, and submit to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner5.

Compose and prepare correspondence6. Act as a receptionist for all internal and external visitors7. Telephone contact with parents, community8. Bookkeeping, account reconciliation and purchase order processing9.

Assist with grade reporting, report card generation10. Manage technology based master calendar for scheduling11. Maintain school website information12. Coordinate school volunteers
