Who We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and being the first point of contact for our clients.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to build a career in IT but may not yet have extensive technical experience. You'll play a critical role in delivering excellent customer service, monitoring client systems, performing recurring maintenance checks, and ensuring requests get routed to the right people quickly.

This is not a senior technical support position. You won't be spending your day solving complex server or networking issues. Instead, you'll be helping keep our operations running smoothly while learning the tools, processes, and technologies used in a Managed Services Provider (MSP).

We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes ownership of their responsibilities, communicates well, and wants to grow into a more technical role over time.

What You'll Do

Client Communication & Ticket Management

Answer incoming client phone calls professionally and courteously
Create support tickets with accurate and detailed information
Route requests to the appropriate technician when necessary
Follow up with clients to gather additional information when needed
Monitor ticket queues and help ensure tickets are being responded to and resolved
Respond promptly to client requests and update ticket status as work progresses

Monitoring & Maintenance

Perform recurring client maintenance checks on servers, network equipment, backups, security systems, and cloud services
Review alerts from Datto RMM, Huntress, MSP360, Proofpoint, and other platforms
Escalate issues to senior technicians when potential problems are identified
Verify successful backup completion and investigate basic backup failures
Assist with endpoint monitoring and remediation activities
Help maintain documentation and client records

Growth & Learning

Learn MSP tools, workflows, and best practices
Participate in internal training and technical development
Shadow senior consultants and technicians
Gradually take on additional technical responsibilities as skills develop
Continuously improve technical knowledge and customer service skills

What You Bring

Required

Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Professional phone presence
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to follow processes and complete recurring tasks consistently
Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
Desire to learn and grow within the IT industry
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Preferred

Previous customer service experience
Previous MSP, help desk, or IT support experience
Experience using ticketing systems
Familiarity with Microsoft 365
Familiarity with networking fundamentals
