Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to our patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Provide medication therapy management and patient counseling
Monitor patient health and progress to achieve positive outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive medication treatment plans
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
Maintain accurate patient records and profiles
Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff

Experience

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited pharmacy program
Active pharmacist license in good standing
Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical calculations
Ability to immunize patients
Familiarity with compounding medications and pain management protocols
Specialized training such as a pharmacy residency in areas like pediatrics or critical care is a plus
Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $75.64 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
