We are a leading provider of services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Currently, we are seeking outstanding applicants to join our growing organization and help to make a difference in the lives of those that we support.

RMS of Ohio has openings for a DSP position for our Adult Day Support program at our Lima location. Our DSPs are also referred to as Support Associates.

Position Overview: Our Support Associates (DSPs) are responsible for providing supervision, support and assistance to consumers (individuals) as prescribed within the Individual Service Plan/Individual Program Plan to increase independence and quality of life.

Our DSP (or Adult Day Support Associate) is responsible for supervision, training and assistance to participants of RMS day program. Services are to be provided within the scope of the Individual's Service Plan (ISP) with the goal of increasing independence and/or improving the quality of life.

Schedule: This is a full-time position for day shift that works Monday to Friday. This position has no weekend shifts.

Position Requirements: Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required. We work exclusively for adults with I/DD living community-based housing.

The preferred candidate should be flexible, organized and a self-starter. Current CPR/FA, Medication Administration is a plus, however we will offer training to the selected candidates. Ability to maintain CPR and First Aid certification. A High School diploma or GED is preferred. Current valid driver’s license, automobile insurance meeting Ohio’s minimum standards and a clean background check.
