Full Job Description

As kitchen manager you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the back of house. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of leadership, communication, and oversight of all areas within the kitchen. This includes but is not limited to:

-Creating a positive work environment

-Create periodic specials

-Upholding your schedule and ensure coverage for all shifts / callouts

-Maintain kitchen equipment and cleanliness and adhere health code regulations

-Maintain proper plating, temperature, garnishing and presentation of food items

-Ensure communication with teammates for timing and preparation of menu items or 86'd items

-Work safely and consistently

-Ensure your employees follow standard kitchen etiquette

-Verbally discipline or prepare write-ups when team members are not following company standards or policies

-Delegate cleaning and organization tasks to employees during downtime

-Manage weekly inventory

-Routinely track menu items and cost of goods

Skills Required:

-Kitchen experience

-Managerial experience

-Communication skills

-Passion for service and providing positive guest experiences

-ServSafe Manager Certified

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to lift up to 55 lbs

-Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations
