Job Overview
Summer Employment! We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and attentive Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you'll be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through excellent service and hospitality. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, has a passion for food and beverage service, and thrives in a lively environment. Whether you're experienced in fine dining or eager to develop your skills in the food industry, you'll find this position rewarding and dynamic.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit.
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures.
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Manage tables effectively by bussing when needed, resetting for new guests, and ensuring cleanliness.
Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and dietary options, to assist guests confidently.
Follow sanitation and food safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.

Skills

Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
Ability to upsell menu items naturally while focusing on guest satisfaction.
Previous experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or cashiering is a plus. Join us as a Server where your enthusiasm for hospitality will shine!
