Overview
Looking for an experienced individual who has saute and other fast paced kitchen experience We are looking for a passionate and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you'll be a key player in preparing delicious, high-quality dishes in a lively kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about food, has solid kitchen experience, and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver exceptional meals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while contributing to a dynamic food service operation.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients to ensure efficient kitchen flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and handling protocols.
Support meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours.
Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper knife skills and food handling procedures, to ensure a safe working environment.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
Contribute to team efforts in catering events or special functions, ensuring quality and presentation meet expectations.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the food industry, restaurant, or catering environment is highly desirable.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with dietary department practices and dietary aide experience is a plus.
Excellent knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen tools efficiently.
Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service when needed.
