Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients across various settings, including acute care, long-term care, and specialized medical environments. Your expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, and critical care will be essential in delivering effective healthcare services.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and responses to treatment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
Perform procedures such as IV insertion, suturing, catheterization, and wound care.
Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping.
Engage in infection control practices to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience in acute care settings such as ICU, ER, or Level I/II trauma centers is preferred.
Familiarity with EMR systems like Epic or Cerner is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and CPT coding is beneficial.
Skills in critical care management, including ventilator management and acute pain management.
Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Strong understanding of hospice & palliative medicine practices is a plus.
Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and physical examinations effectively.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and advocacy.
