Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Full-Time Sewing Machine Operator.

Do you enjoy hands-on work? We offer a weekday position from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

About the Company

Our sewn product development company has been growing for 35 years. We turn customer designs into finished products through pattern development, sampling, and production. We create small runs of about 200 pieces per style and work with both knits and wovens.

Position Details

We are seeking a full-time sewing machine operator. Tasks include non-repetitive sewing and operating industrial machines of all types. Ideal candidates are flexible, team-oriented, and appreciate quality, detailed work.

Responsibilities

Operate various sewing machines with precision to assemble garments according to specifications and patterns
Follow detailed sewing instructions and quality guidelines to ensure consistent product standards
Inspect finished products for defects, ensuring all items meet quality requirements before packaging
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sewing area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and optimize workflow efficiency
Assist in troubleshooting machine issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity

Qualifications

Proven experience in garment construction or sewing, with a strong understanding of sewing techniques and processes
Hands-on experience operating sewing machines in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of manufacturing workflows and quality control procedures
Ability to interpret technical drawings, patterns, and instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail, with a focus on precision and consistency in work output
Prior warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and safety standards
Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
