58 West (operated by Hocking Hills Winery) is seeking Line Cooks to join our team!

The right candidate should have previous kitchen experience, delivering excellent product in a timely fashion to exceed guest expectations and demonstrate excellence through cooperation, and a positive attitude.

Overview of Position:

The 58 West Line Cook collaborates with the chefs to deliver quality food preparation of all menu items to ensure a positive customer experience. The Line Cook is responsible for proper storage and handling of all food items in accordance with company, state, federal, local, and health department standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares and executes all recipes, and presentations to meet company standards and commitment to quality
Learns menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation
Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards
Keeps work area neat, and clean at all times
Cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation
Puts away delivered food and supplies as needed
Preps all food for next shift and for the following day
Partners with servers to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve complaints about food service as needed
Communicates in a timely and professional manner
Understand and be in compliance with all policies, procedures and laws related food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service within a restaurant
Maintains sanitation of restaurant to exceed Health Department standards.
Must be able to work most weekends
Ability to bend, stoop, lift, stand continuous, walk, and lift and/or move up to 50-pounds.
