Full Job Description

Ace Surfaces Inc. is looking for a meticulous, hands-on Bookkeeper to manage our day-to-day financial operations. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, insurance matters, managing A/P and A/R, and helping to ensure smooth financial workflows for our projects.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (A/P): Process vendor invoices, reconcile statements, and execute payments accurately.
Accounts Receivable (A/R): Generate invoices, track incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
Payroll Processing: Process accurate and timely payroll.
General Ledger & Reconciliations: Maintain the general ledger and reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly.
Financial Reporting: Preparing month-end close reports and providing financial data for tax preparation.
Office: Assist the team with general administrative tasks material ordering, expense tracking, and job-costing.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 3 years minimum experience in Bookkeeping.
Software Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
Industry Knowledge: , or field-service industry is highly preferred.
Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to organize and digitize financial systems.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with vendors, clients, and field staff.
Other: The position requires a solid understanding of accounting principles, including intercompany transactions.
