LEE + RO’s office in City of Industry, CA seeks a Civil Engineer to join our energetic and growing team. As a mid-level Civil Engineer, you will work with project managers and other team members across multiple disciplines to execute work on variety of water and wastewater projects, including potable water/wastewater/recycled treatment facilities, water resources, conveyance systems, and assist with other key aspects of design and construction support (e.g., technical writing, specifications, review construction submittals and RFIs, etc.). You must have experience in one or more of the following areas - pipeline design, hydraulics, pump station design, and water and wastewater treatment plant planning, design, and construction support.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
· Work closely with project managers to lead a small team of engineers of various disciplines to design projects for drinking water, wastewater treatment, and conveyance infrastructure design projects.
· Prepare engineering design deliverables including calculations, technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and data analyses.
· Support municipal water and wastewater clients with pre-design tasks and alternative analyses.
· Communicate effectively and coordinate with diverse project teams and disciplines.
· Communicate effectively with clients, sub-consultants, and vendors.
· Conduct occasional site visits during construction to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
· Assist with construction support, including submittal reviews, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, and change orders for construction projects.
· Successfully manage and deliver assignments on time.
· Adhere to LEE + RO’s QA/QC process.
· Participate in business development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
· EIT Certification.
· Fluent with Civil 3D for the design of pipelines and grading projects.
· Experience in one or more of the following areas:
o Water and wastewater treatment plants
o Wastewater, recycled water, and stormwater pump stations
o Water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance facilities
o Water storage tanks/reservoirs/flow control facilities
· Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), AutoCAD, BlueBeam Revu.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Strong interest in the water/wastewater industry.
· Strong aptitude for researching and solving technical problems.
· 3-10 years of relevant experience within the water/wastewater industry, including planning, engineering, design, project management, and public water infrastructure projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· State of California PE Certification (Civil/Mechanical). If no CA PE Certification, then must be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment.
· Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
SALARY RANGE: $79,040 - $151,840/yr.
This position's anticipated starting pay range is based on the employee’s primary work location and will be commensurate with the individual’s skills, experience, and education. These ranges are subject to modification in the future.

WORK LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
All staff are expected to report to office in person at least three days a week (Tuesday-Thursday) and have the option of working remotely two days a week (Monday and Friday).
