Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior Stylist/Assistant to join our vibrant salon team! This entry-level role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about beauty, hair care, and customer service. As a Junior Stylist/Assistant, you will support senior stylists while gaining hands-on experience in hair styling, coloring, and salon operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a micro-salon environment that celebrates creativity and professional growth. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing our commitment to investing in your career from the start.

Responsibilities

Assist expert stylists with hair styling, blowouts, and color treatments, ensuring client satisfaction.
Support with hair extensions, shampoo and conditioners, hot towel treatments, toners, root retouch, retail and customer care and salon experience.
Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas regularly.
Greeting clients warmly, and checking them in efficiently.
Promote retail sales of hair products through upselling techniques.
Assist with store management tasks such as inventory organization and stock replenishment.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and ensuring a positive salon experience.
Support mentoring of team members and participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance technical and business skills.
Skills
Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and color theory to assist with client services.
Familiarity with salon software systems such as SQUARE for booking and client management.
Experience or interest in hair extensions.
Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members.
Ability to maintain high sanitation standards following industry regulations.
Retail sales experience with a focus on upselling beauty products and retail.
