Elite Seasonal Solar Lead Setter / Canvasser (Housing Provided)

About the Opportunity
Are you an Elite Solar Setter who can command a doorstep, navigate complex utility structures, and build massive upfront value? We are launching a high-volume, 3-month seasonal solar campaign from August 20th through November 22nd in the lucrative Los Angeles market. This role is strictly for proven, high-value solar setters who know the industry and can execute a clean, tight process.
We protect your pipeline: our elite closers in the LGCY Power Los Angeles Office are District Managers who have been successfully running offices for over 11 years, with thousands of career installs under their belts. When you build the fire and set a highly qualified appointment, you can trust a high percentage will close and install. We provide fully paid corporate housing, fast weekly pipeline cash, and a highly competitive tier-based backend commission structure.
(Note: Candidates are responsible for their own initial flights and transportation to Los Angeles. You are also responsible for obtaining your own transportation during the 3 months; however, there will be times when you can be dropped off and picked up from the target area if needed. Corporate housing is fully covered once you arrive (Must hit minimum expectations). Additionally, achieving Tier 3 status in a month will earn an extra $1,500 travel and food reimbursement bonus for that month).

Performance Tier Structure (Resets Monthly)
Your commission & milestone bonuses scale automatically as you produce & hit higher Tiers
Note: We need real Elite Setters who don’t play games; therefore we have expectations since our focus is making money. Below Baseline (0-7 Sits/mo): Immediate Termination Penalty (Failing to hit the 8-sit per month baseline results in contract termination & must leave housing. All backend ‘install commissions’ for accounts generated during that month are completely forfeited to cover misused housing costs)
- Tier 1 (Sits 8-10/mo): $200 / sit + $500 Site Survey Bonus + 10% install split
- Tier 2 (Sits 11-15/mo): $225 / sit + $500 Site Survey Bonus + 15% install split
- Tier 3 (Sits 16+/mo): $250 / sit + $500 Site Survey Bonus + 20% install split
- Elite Tier 3 Bonus: Smash Tier 3 in a month & unlock a $1,500 cash (relocation, travel, and food) Bonus for that specific month!
Strict Qualification Rules (for Appt Sits)
We pay premium rates because we expect premium setters. To earn the "sat" payout, appointments must meet the following baseline criteria:
- Monthly Production Minimum: Setters must achieve a minimum of 8 qualified sits per calendar month. Production falling between 0-7 sits will trigger immediate termination and total forfeiture of all pending backend install commissions for that month's pipeline
- Ineligible Roof Types: Setters must not create appointments at homes with any kind of Spanish or Clay tile roofs, or metal roofs. Only composite shingle, flat roofs, & concrete tile are eligible
- Electric Bill Minimums & Eligibility: Must obtain a recent electric bill averaging:
SCE: $180+ if CARE program, or $140+ if non-CARE
LADWP / Pasadena Water & Power (PWP): $110+ monthly ($220+ every other month)
Note: Accounts must be in good standing. Bills are ineligible if they are excessively past due or carry an active disconnection notice
Note: We understand you may be from out of state; therefore we will provide training on understanding the market and SoCal utility bills
- Site Verification Media: Setter must capture clear photos of the homeowner's electrical panel and roof condition during the setting process
- Financial Baseline: Must secure a verbal acknowledgment from the homeowner confirming their credit score is above 650
- Dual-Homeowner Attendance: Setter must ensure both homeowners (if married/co-owners) are confirmed to be in attendance for the appointment
- 100% Transparency & Review: Homeowner must clearly understand the appointment is specifically for a solar savings consultation. Setter must perform a quick, compliant review of how the program works so expectations are set
- Confirmation: The setter must successfully confirm the appointment prior to arrival
- Presentation: Homeowners must allow the closer at least 20 minutes to present the solution
Payout Schedule & Timelines (Fast & Reliable)
We understand D2D cash flow. We pay fast, every single Wednesday:
- Upfront Sit Fees: Paid every Wednesday via Venmo or Zelle following the completed appointment
- $500 Site Survey Bonus: Paid on the Wednesday of the week after the site survey is successfully completed
- Install Commissions: Paid on Wednesdays, split by project milestones. The overall commission split ranges from 10% to 20% depending strictly on the performance tier hit during that month:
- 80% of your install commission % is paid after installation is complete
- 20% of your install commission % is paid after the system receives PTO (Permission to Operate / system turned on)!
Important: In the event of termination due to low production (0-7 sits in a month), all unpaid, pending, or future milestone install commissions for that month's pipeline are forfeited to cover misused housing
