Online Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET) Adjunct Faculty

$360.00 - $400.00 a week

These are Remote Adjunct Faculty positions - Applicants must be currently residing in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Pay per course is $1,800-$2,000/5 week term. Must have at least one live session/week to teach via Zoom.

We are seeking experienced professionals to teach Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET) courses remotely for our Online program. With ABET-accredited programs, we are committed to students’ success. If you’re passionate about sharing your industry expertise, providing hands-on instruction, and impacting students’ lives, consider joining our team. Our five-week terms offer the ideal setting to help adult learners achieve their goals. Evening and weekend availability required.

The School of Engineering Technology offers ABET accredited Baccalaureate degree programs Electronic Systems Engineering Technology.

Since 1966, ECPI University’s employees have been dedicated to helping students achieve their academic and career goals through our unique education model. Our terms are five weeks long and offer faculty the perfect environment in which to share their specific industry experiences to help students achieve learning outcomes. Candidates must be available evenings and weekends to support our busy adult learners.

Education/Certifications:

Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution; Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Experience:

+1 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field required; 7+ years career industry experience preferred. Industry experience must be within the last 5 years.
Familiarity with Multisim and Labview software; experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs
Familiarity with CAD software
Mechatronics candidates should have a strong background in control systems, instrumentation and measurements, and mechanical systems
Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)
Specifically looking for experience in any of the areas below:
Analog & Digital Electronics
Programmable Logic Controllers
Microcontrollers
Field Programmable Logic Arrays, FPGAs
Communication Systems
Robotics & Smart Manufacturing
Machine Learning
Computer Aided Drafting & Design
Engineering Mechanics

Required Skills:

The highest levels of integrity at all times.
Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment
Comfortable being first point of contact to troubleshoot software or technical concerns for students.
