Altius is a manufacturing and supply chain company built for industrial customers who care about execution. We source, manufacture, and deliver engineered fasteners, fabricated components, machined parts, and Class C supply programs for OEMs across HVAC, automotive, elevator, and industrial markets. Our operations include U.S.-based manufacturing, global sourcing, VMI, kitting, and 3PL services — all focused on reliability, speed, and cost control.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled FabricationOperator to operate multiple manufacturing machines and perform a wide range of machining operations. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to producing high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machines to perform tasks such as turning, milling, drilling, press brake, laser, and assembly.
Study drawings and specifications to ensure parts meet quality standards.
Perform inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
Conduct SPC analysis and maintain accurate data records.
Monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and replace tools as needed.
Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot tooling issues.
Prepare materials, including loading bar stock or plastic materials into machines.
Execute secondary operations like grinding, deburring, sanding, and polishing.
Ensure cleanliness and proper condition of workstations and molds.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Specific vision abilities, including close vision and depth perception.

Work Environment:

Exposure to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
Moderate noise levels in the workspace.
Adherence to safety standards and proper equipment usage.
