Full Job Description

Construction Site(s) Superintendent

Position Summary

The Site Superintendent will manage day-to-day construction activities at multiple job sites while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive commercial construction experience, including mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

Supervise multiple commercial construction and renovation projects simultaneously, including mixed-use developments.

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel.

Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety regulations including enforcement OSHA Protocols.

Schedule and oversee daily construction activities.

Conduct site inspections and quality control reviews.

Monitor project schedules and identify delays before they become issues. Working knowledge of project critical path scheduling.

Coordinate deliveries of materials, fixtures, and equipment.

Maintain accurate daily reports, job logs, and construction documentation.

Attend meetings with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and municipal officials.

Review completed work to ensure superior workmanship.

Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.

Resolve field issues and unexpected construction challenges, including construction documentation conflicts

Detail oriented and team player

Abvility to work long hours

Ability to offer a high level of customer service

OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications are highly preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years of commercial construction supervisory experience.

Experience managing multiple job sites.

Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and building codes.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Valid Massachusetts driver's license.

Education

High school diploma with extensive trade experience and/or a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience of not less than 7 years of similar exeperience.

Pay: $76,458.62 - $150,000.00 per year
