Position Details
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Role Type: Full-time, 1.0 FTE
Setting: Outpatient
What You’ll Do
- Independently perform a full spectrum of diagnostic ultrasound exams at an advanced level
- Apply seasoned clinical judgment to adjust protocols and tailor exams for diagnostic accuracy
- Review patient history, labs, and prior imaging to deliver high‑quality studies
- Communicate findings concisely with ordering and interpreting providers
- Maintain equipment, manage room readiness, and support a smooth daily workflow
- Provide calm, expert patient care supported by adequate time for education and reassurance
This role is intentionally structured for independent, confident, highly capable sonographers.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience (acute care or advanced outpatient preferred)
- Candidates who hold the ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS Abdomen and RVT/RVS are highly preferred.
- ARDMS OB/GYN and Abdomen required
- RVT or RVS required, but there will be a 12-month grace period to obtain them if you don’t already hold this credential.
- BLS required
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $44.11–$66.17
Final compensation is based on experience—experienced techs are strongly encouraged to apply.
