Full Job Description

Job Summary

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate, where your energy and precision will drive our logistics operations forward! In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials, managing inventory, and operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Your proactive approach will help us meet customer demands, maintain safety standards, and uphold the highest quality in warehouse distribution. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management and logistics while contributing to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Duties

Operate various types of heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse.
Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, using inventory management software and RF scanners to track product movement.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, ensuring accuracy using order fulfillment systems like AS400 or warehouse management systems.
Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy items and stacking pallets while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing materials, and ensuring proper storage practices.
Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries.
Follow safety procedures diligently by using personal protective equipment (PPE), adhering to OSHA standards, and operating mechanical equipment with technical proficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with knowledge of warehouse operations and distribution processes.
Valid certification or experience operating heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
Familiarity with inventory management software, RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and AS400 is highly desirable.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety compliance.
Strong basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy.
Knowledge of safety regulations such as OSHA standards and proper use of PPE.
Previous experience in warehouse supervision or logistics roles is a plus but not required; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
