Billing Clerk / Accounts Receivable

Location: Lubbock, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience

Automotive Marketing Solutions (AMS) is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented, and organized Billing Clerk to join our team in Lubbock. If you enjoy working with numbers, staying organized, solving problems, and helping customers, this could be a great opportunity for you!

As a Billing Clerk, you will play an important role in supporting our Accounts Receivable (A/R) operations and keeping billing and payment processes running smoothly. You’ll work with customers and field teams to answer billing questions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure payments are accurately processed and recorded.

What You’ll Do

Manage daily Accounts Receivable (A/R) activities
Prepare, review, and maintain accurate billing and customer account records
Communicate with customers and field teams regarding invoices, payments, and billing questions
Process and accurately enter payments received through approved online methods, including ACH, credit card, and online payments
Research and assist with resolving account discrepancies and payment-related issues
Maintain organized and accurate documentation
Provide support with daily accounting and administrative tasks
Work closely with the team to ensure billing and payment information is accurate and up to date

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, accounting, bookkeeping, or a related administrative position is preferred
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Professional communication and customer service skills
Comfortable handling multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
Proficiency with Mac computers and general computer systems
Ability to work independently while also being a dependable team member
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
