Are you an experienced business professional with a passion for serving seniors? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where organization, leadership, and compassion come together? We are seeking a dynamic Business Office Director to join our senior living community and oversee the daily financial and administrative operations that support exceptional resident care.

Position Summary

The Business Office Director is responsible for managing all business office functions, including accounts receivable, billing, payroll, human resources support, and administrative services. This leader works closely with department heads, residents, families, and corporate partners to ensure efficient operations and an outstanding resident experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee all daily business office operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
Manage resident billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
Process payroll and maintain employee records in accordance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and other human resources functions.
Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with employment laws and company standards.
Prepare financial reports, track expenses, and assist with budget management.
Support residents and families by addressing billing questions and providing exceptional customer service.
Manage vendor invoices, purchase orders, and accounts payable functions.
Partner with the Executive Director and department leaders to support overall community operations.
Ensure confidentiality of all resident, employee, and financial information.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of business office, accounting, payroll, or administrative management experience, preferably in Senior Living, Healthcare, or Hospitality.
Experience with payroll processing, billing, and accounts receivable required.
Strong knowledge of human resources practices and employment documentation preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to lead with professionalism, integrity, and compassion.
