Job Overview

WE ARE WILLING TO TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE!

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient care processes, and ensuring compliance with all pharmaceutical regulations. Your expertise will help deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate pharmacy services to diverse patient populations across various healthcare settings. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute directly to patient health outcomes while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage medication inventory, perform data entry into pharmacy software systems, and ensure accurate record keeping
Support patient service activities such as medication intake, patient care coordination, and answering medication-related inquiries
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
Handle pharmaceutical calculations accurately for dosage determinations and medication administration
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with healthcare privacy regulations and pharmacy policies

Qualifications

Prior pharmacy technician experience in hospital, or community pharmacy settings is highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacological medical terminology, and drug regulation standards
Familiarity with pharmacy software systems, data entry procedures, and medication management protocols
Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, pharmacy practices, and pharmaceutical calculations
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and communication
Ability to work effectively within a team while maintaining attention to detail in high-pressure situations
