General Clerk Position – The Recovery Center

Position Overview:
As a General Clerk with River Edge, you will perform a variety of duties in an outpatient office setting. Experience working in a medical or behavioral health practice setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Location/Schedule: 3575 Fulton Mill Road, Macon, GA – 36 hours 3-12 hours shifts between Sunday-Saturday and Every other Weekend 7am7pm or 7pm7am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the front desk receptionist, greeting visitors and clients with excellent customer service.
- Check in clients for provider appointments and assist new clients with enrolling in services in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Provide clerical support to office and direct support staff, including data entry and maintenance, copying and distributing documents/materials, maintaining records, and filing systems.
- Provide clerical support within the assigned functional area, including scheduling maintenance, ordering supplies, and alerting security as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Ability to handle and protect confidential information
- Ability to lift 16–20 pounds as needed
- Customer service experience or experience in a behavioral health setting preferred
