Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Hybrid Helpdesk / Field Technician to join our innovative IT support team. This role offers an exciting blend of remote helpdesk assistance and on-site technical support, empowering you to deliver exceptional service to our users. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage network configurations, and assist with IT infrastructure maintenance, ensuring seamless technology operations across the organization. This position is perfect for someone eager to grow their technical expertise while providing vital support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via help desk systems, resolving user issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
Troubleshoot computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and peripheral devices such as mobile devices and printers
Assist with computer management tasks including Active Directory management, user account setup, GPO (Group Policy Object) configurations, and permissions management
Diagnose and resolve network issues involving LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS configurations, VPN connections, firewalls, and TCP troubleshooting
Support desktop support activities by installing, configuring, and maintaining computer equipment and peripherals
Manage customer support tickets efficiently, documenting issues accurately and following up to ensure resolution
Collaborate with team members to analyze system performance issues and implement solutions that improve overall IT infrastructure stability

Requirements

Proven experience in technical support roles with a focus on help desk systems and customer service excellence
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Linux environments, and common networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, VPNs, and firewalls
Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware components including computer hardware components and mobile devices
Familiarity with Active Directory management, GPO configuration, DNS setup, and computer management tools
Ability to diagnose complex network issues involving network troubleshooting techniques
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus
