Located in Macon and Perry, Georgia, the firm has 22 partners and a staff of over 100 professionals offering diverse strengths and the expertise necessary to provide a full range of accounting, tax and financial services to a broad spectrum of clients throughout the southeastern US.

Receptionist role. In this position, you'll couple your positive attitude, professionalism, attention to detail, flexibility, superb organizational skills, and the drive to perform in a fast-paced environment to ensure deadlines are met and clients are well informed. In this role, you will serve as your department’s front-line for client communication, and will carry the weight of MMM&Co’s service reputation and client satisfaction in your hands.

Responsibilities

Perform clerical, administrative and office duties of a responsible and confidential nature
Route and answer correspondence
Independently establish, organize and maintain files and initiate follow up as needed
Compile, analyze and summarize client data and information
Assist with assembling tax returns and financial statements
May coordinate off-site meetings and conventions; assist with schedule management; arrange appointments, travel, meetings, conference calls and process expense reports
Follow standardized formats and established internal procedures
Organize correspondence and email; respond to requests for information
Coordinate activities between departments and outside parties
Provide support to partners and rest of department as requested

Qualifications Required

High School diploma or equivalent education/experience
Minimum of 2 years of administrative support experience in a similar environment

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

Some college courses/specialized administrative or business training
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Superb organization skills and attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience producing high quality reports, presentations and other documents
Knowledge of accounting software including UltraTax, QuickBooks, and CCH
Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
Ability to handle confidential matters
Substantial knowledge of the department's operation and company procedures
Proven ability in assembling, compiling, analyzing and summarizing data
Ability to work independently and self-manage projects and anticipate and address issues in the partner's absence
Capable of independent and innovative thinking, with proven decision-making skills
Experience working with senior management
