Full Job Description

Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Summary

T. Wall Enterprises Mgt, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions for multiple entities while maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal departments. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices accurately and timely for multiple companies and properties.
Review invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and required approvals.
Enter invoices into the accounting system and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and process weekly check runs.
Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies.
Respond promptly to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
Maintain organized accounts payable files.
Process employee expense reimbursements.
Maintain vendor records, including W-9 documentation and 1099 reporting.
Monitor payment due dates to ensure timely payments and avoid late fees.
Work collaboratively with property managers and other departments to resolve invoice questions.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements to be considered:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting; or
A minimum of two (2) years of recent, hands-on accounts payable experience in a professional accounting environment.

In addition, qualified candidates must have:

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Proficiency in Excel.
Experience using accounting software.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset.
Ability to prioritize workload, manage multiple deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented while handling competing priorities and high-pressure situations.
Demonstrated adaptability, sound judgment, and a positive attitude when responding to changing business needs.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
Dependable, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality work while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in a property management or real estate environment.
Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to increased efficiency.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly pay range: $24.00–$28.00 per hour, based on qualifications, education, and experience.
