About the Role

We’re hiring a true sales hunter. As a Business Development Manager, you’ll drive new growth across the commercial landscaping and snow & ice management sectors -- finding, engaging, and winning new clients through strategic prospecting, consultative selling, and relentless follow-up. This is not an account-maintenance role. It’s for someone who gets energized by competition, takes pride in pipeline discipline, and is motivated by what they can earn when they close.

You won’t be doing it alone. You’ll sell with an industry-leading tech stack and a dedicated operations and estimating team behind every proposal, so your time stays focused on what you do best -- building relationships and closing deals.

What You’ll Do

Own your market: pursue new commercial clients through proactive prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and disciplined follow-up.

Build fast rapport: engage property managers, facility directors, developers, and procurement professionals with confidence and credibility.

Sell value, not price: use a consultative approach to uncover operational pain points and craft proposals that solve real problems.

Keep a clean pipeline: log activities, leads, and opportunities in the CRM in real time so forecasts are accurate.

Drive market penetration: attend industry events, join trade associations, and represent the brand as a trusted advisor.

Partner cross-functionally: work with operations and estimating to align proposals with service capabilities and client expectations.

Hit your number: consistently meet or exceed individual sales quotas, new-account targets, and margin objectives.

What You Bring

Outside sales experience: 2-3+ years of dedicated B2B outside sales. (Strong candidates with less than 2 years of sales experience will be considered if they have 3+ years in the commercial landscaping industry beyond a crew-leader role.)

A track record of closing: a proven record of exceeding quota through disciplined prospecting, consultative selling, and follow-through.

The right sales style: you sell intangible services on value and outcomes, not price alone.

Consistency: we value a stable, consistent work history (documented internal promotions are a plus, not a red flag).

Communication and acumen: exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with the business sense to engage decision-makers from property managers to executives.

Logistics: valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record.

Compensation & Benefits

Total on-target earnings of $120,000+ - competitive base salary ($70,000–$90,000) plus uncapped commission.

Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement, plus cell phone reimbursement.
