Full Job Description

Your future role at a glance:

Location: North Vernon, IN

Facility: Ascension Medical Group, clinic

Department/Specialty: Primary Care

Schedule: Full-time | Days | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Patient Intake and Care Coordination: Welcomed visitors, managed check-in/out workflows, and scheduled patient appointments to maintain an efficient clinic schedule.
Data Integrity and Compliance: Verified and updated demographic records while processing medical release requests in strict compliance with privacy regulations.
Insurance Optimization: Secured necessary insurance authorizations and precertifications ahead of time to minimize coverage denials and delays.
Revenue Cycle Management: Processed and submitted daily clinical procedure charges while managing point-of-service co-payments.
Financial Reconciliation: Balanced daily financial logs, processed credit transactions, and reconciled cash drawer deposits with high accuracy.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional requirements you'll need:

Front office experience preferred
