Owls Head hours are 7:30-9:30AM and then 2:15-4:30PM Mon - Friday and 7:30 - 11:30 Saturday additional hours available at alternate locations if desired.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mail Processing/ Window Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling, sorting, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail within our Owls Head post office location. As well as selling stamps and other philatelic items and postal products to the Owls Head community. Your proactive approach will ensure timely delivery of mail and packages, supporting seamless communication and operations across the organization. This position offers an energetic environment where your organizational skills and physical stamina will make a real impact every day.

Responsibilities

Sort, process, and distribute incoming mail and packages using manual handling techniques.
Operate RF scanners to load, unload, and transport shipments safely.
Use Microsoft Office tools for data entry, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate mail logs.
Manage shipment sorting, shipping, and receiving tasks to ensure timely delivery within the warehouse distribution system.
Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of parcels, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed at all times.
Organize mail distribution areas, file records, and maintain organized documentation for audit purposes
deliver mail and packages to PO Boxes sell stamps and other postal products

Requirements

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for data entry and record keeping.
Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work in physically demanding environments.
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments accurately.
Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and vendors.
