Experience Level: Senior (5+ years in IT Support, MSP experience preferred)

We are a trusted IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) serving small and medium-sized businesses in the greater Cincinnati area. We specialize in IT solutions, cybersecurity, and cloud services, delivering cutting-edge technology with a human touch. Our team thrives on solving complex IT challenges and keeping businesses secure and operational.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a highly skilled Level 3 IT Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be the highest escalation point for technical issues, providing expert-level support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. You’ll work closely with clients, junior technicians, and project teams to ensure smooth IT operations and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the final escalation point for complex IT issues (server, networking, security, cloud, virtualization).
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for network infrastructure, including firewalls (SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco), switches, and VPNs.
Implement and support security solutions, including SIEM, EDR, MFA, and backup/disaster recovery strategies.
Lead technical projects, including server migrations, cloud deployments, and network overhauls.
Turn Level 3 problems into repeatable processes that morph into Level 1 Helpdesk tickets.
Automate processes using PowerShell, scripting, or RMM tools.
Act as a mentor and escalation point for Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
Ensure compliance with industry security standards (NIST, CIS, HIPAA, etc.).
Document technical solutions, processes, and client environments in an IT documentation system (IT Glue, Hudu, etc.).

Requirements

✅ Experience: 5+ years in IT support, preferably in an MSP environment.
✅ Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft (AZ-104, MS-100), CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or equivalent.
✅ Technical Proficiency:

Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025), Active Directory, Group Policy
Microsoft 365 Administration (Exchange, SharePoint, Intune, Teams)
MSP Toolsets
Networking (firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, SD-WAN)
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
Cybersecurity best practices and solutions
Backup & Disaster Recovery solutions (Datto, Veeam, Acronis)
