Demetree Global is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Winter Park, Florida. Summary

The Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk is responsible for accurately processing incoming invoices, maintaining vendor data, and ensuring timely payments of company obligations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily AP operations, reinforcing financial accuracy, and maintaining the strong operational foundation that supports Demetree Global’s diverse real estate and investment activities, while also providing occasional administrative support to Family Services operations.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices: Enter, code, and route vendor invoices in the accounting system.
Payment approvals
Handle payments: Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Reconcile accounts: Assist with monthly AP reconciliations and ensure entries are accurate.
Resolve discrepancies: Work with internal departments and vendors to correct invoice or payment issues.
Maintain vendor files: Update W‑9s, contact information, and payment terms.
Support month‑end close: Provide AP reports and ensure invoices are processed in correct periods.
Ensure compliance: Follow internal accounting policies, approval workflows, and SOX/internal control requirements.
General administrative tasks: Filing, documentation, and responding to vendor inquiries.
Assist with Family Services operations on an ad hoc basis, including reviewing billing records, tracking payments, and supporting administrative workflows

Required Skills & Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree in accounting preferred).
1+ year of experience in accounts payable or general accounting (preferred but not always required).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with electronic invoice systems (e.g., Yardi)
