Limitless – Help Group’s Community Art Space is a vibrant pop-up destination on Abbott Kinney that celebrates the talents of neurodiverse artists while creating meaningful vocational opportunities for students and young adults. Featuring a gallery of artwork by Help Group students and alumni, interactive creative experiences, and a curated gift shop, the space brings together creativity, inclusion, and community engagement in one welcoming environment. Through Limitless, Help Group is expanding its mission beyond the classroom by showcasing talent, fostering creativity, and creating pathways to employment and independence.
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people and creating memorable experiences. The ideal candidate is creative, welcoming, and excited to help visitors discover the incredible talents of Help Group students and alumni while supporting a one-of-a-kind community art space.
Location: Abbott Kinney Boulevard, Venice, CA
Schedule: Thursday–Sunday | 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Approximately 28 hours/week)

Position Summary
Help Group is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and customer-focused Gallery and Studio Associate to help launch and operate our new pop-up Community Art Space on Abbott Kinney.
This individual will serve as the primary on-site ambassador for Limitless, creating an engaging and welcoming environment for visitors while facilitating creative art experiences, supporting retail operations, and sharing the mission of Help Group with the community.
Primary Responsibilities

Welcome visitors and provide an engaging, inclusive guest experience.

Facilitate and assist with interactive art activities for visitors of all ages.

Share information about Help Group, Limitless, and the impact of our programs.

Support retail operations, including sales, merchandising, and inventory organization.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting space while supporting special events and vocational students.
Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about engaging with visitors and the community.

Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Organized, dependable, and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Interest in art, retail, education, or community-based work

Experience with art activities or individuals with disabilities is a plus.

The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of Help Group. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, professional and academic experience, certification, training, responsibilities of the position, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
