Job description

Retina Consultants is seeking experienced medical scribes needed for our busy, six provider ophthalmology offices. Ophthalmology knowledge is a plus, but training is provided on the job. Our medical scribes are required to record detailed medical information in the EMR system under direct supervision of our Ophthalmologists. Candidates will have opportunities to grow and cross-train within different clinical departments in the practice, from initial patient history, to diagnostic imaging and assisting our physicians during exams and procedures. Travel to all locations is required.

Key Tasks Include, but are not limited to:

· Chief complaints

· Input Medical/ Surgical History

· EMR chart documentation alongside physician

· Assist with in-office procedures

· Assist with surgery booking

· Ensure patient-flow

Job Type:

· Full-time

Salary:

· $20+ per hour based on experience

Location:

· 5 Offices throughout Connecticut- travel is required based on staff schedule.
