1ST SHIFT

$1000 sign-on bonus
5:00AM-3:30PM
Monday-Thursday with overtime as assigned on Friday
Full benefits package including paid time off after 60 days.

2ND SHIFT

$1000 sign-on bonus
3:30PM-2:00AM
Monday-Thursday with overtime as assigned on Friday
Full benefits package including paid time off after 60 days.

The Machine Operator III is responsible for planning, programming, setting up, and operating CNC and other production equipment to manufacture quality parts that meet engineering specifications. This position requires strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate a variety of manufacturing equipment.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the safe operation of machinery, forklifts, and powered industrial equipment.

What You'll Do

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to manufacture parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Select and modify machine programs for simple production parts.
Perform machine setup, prove-outs, and optimize programs for efficiency and quality.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Understand and apply machining tolerances and quality standards.
Program mills and plasma equipment by entering offsets, reference points, tool registers, and compensation values.
Perform basic program edits and troubleshooting on at least one machine type.
Monitor machine performance and adjust programs or tooling as needed.
Troubleshoot quality concerns and identify root causes using a systematic approach.
Recommend fixture improvements to increase productivity, repeatability, and product quality.
Change fixtures and tooling as required.
Maintain accurate production records using Epicor (E10) and other systems.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments including:
Micrometers
Calipers
Gauges
Tape measures
Maintain equipment and perform routine machine maintenance.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
Operate forklifts, Combi lifts, and other material handling equipment as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

One year of machine operation experience preferred
Experience operating CNC equipment preferred
Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
Ability to understand machining tolerances and manufacturing specifications
Ability to select and modify CNC machine programs
Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds, and tool life
Basic CNC programming knowledge
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience using precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to safely handle raw materials and finished products
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and OSHA safety standards
Forklift certification is a plus

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year of machine operation experience preferred
CNC machining experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred

Physical Requirements

Regularly stand and walk throughout the shift
Frequently use hands and arms to operate machinery and tools
Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb as required
Use precision measuring tools throughout the workday

Work Environment

This position works in a manufacturing environment where temperatures may vary throughout the year. Employees may be exposed to hot, cold, humid, dusty, or dry conditions while working indoors and occasionally outdoors.
