Job Listing: Food Service Manager 2

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Food Service Manager to lead our Sodexo Live! team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will drive team performance, streamline processes, and foster a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse food service settings, from casual dining to catering, while ensuring profitability and operational efficiency.

Location: We are seeking an experienced Food Service Manager 2 for the Bromley Mountain Ski Resort in Peru, VT.

Essential Responsibilities

Lead diverse food service operations that directly influence client satisfaction and retention.
Drive operational excellence through execution of standard processes and performance metrics.
Gain hands-on exposure to purchasing, inventory control, food cost management, and forecasting.
Champion food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety initiatives.
Build trusted client relationships while supporting account growth and profitability.
Develop leadership skills through coaching, delegation, and team engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or similar food industry roles with a strong background in restaurant or hospitality management.
Demonstrated supervising experience with team leadership skills; capable of interviewing, training, and developing staff effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and kitchen management including food safety management.
Proficiency with POS systems; basic math skills for cash handling and financial analysis.
Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a food service environment.
Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and deliver excellent customer service.
Familiarity with catering, banquet operations, bar experience, or hotel food services is a plus; experience with managing hospitality teams is highly valued.
