Full Job Description

We Are Hiring:

Location: Manhattan, KS

Facility Name: Manhattan's Occupational Health Clinic

Schedule: Flexible Part-Time

This job location is currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type

What You Will Do:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join an employed position within a busy, occupation health clinic, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

Join an established team of 1 physicians and 2 APPs
Call structure: Back up for NBAF Facility
Practice setting: Outpatient
Access to Support staff
Employed position within a nonprofit health system
Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
Provide occupational health services to the Manhattan community and (as-needed) to NBAF employees, researchers, maintenance and animal handlers
Obtains patient history and performs assessment. Orders, performs and interprets diagnostic procedures.
Provide ergonomics, functional capacity evaluations, physicals, office visits, workplace wellness, rehabilitation, work conditioning, education, and drug testing services

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certified Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing preferred.

Education:

Master's degree of Nursing required.
