Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a vibrant, fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on seasonal ingredients or guest preferences
Ensure timely delivery of food orders to maintain smooth service flow
Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and food handling regulations
Experience working in restaurants or the food industry is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
A positive attitude with strong teamwork and communication skills
