LJP Waste Solutions is seeking a full-time Swing Driver.
Drivers are responsible for completing both Semi and Rolloff routes on an on-call basis. Trucks may change daily. Drivers are responsible for performing assigned Rolloff duties on compactors / container delivery and hauling. Semi Tractor drivers transport trailers from customers to our receiving area or disposal sites operating safely on roadways and following all CDL laws.
Typical Duties:

Drivers must be versatile and flexible within their schedule as they will be required to flex their start hours based on availability of trucks.

Drivers are expected to learn business structure of LJP Waste Solutions and operate equipment safely and efficiently.

Follow electronic tablet instructions on workorders sent by dispatch.

Swing drivers may be required to train new drivers on routes.

Learn and perform proper routine maintenance on trucks.

Physically strenuous position which requires mounting and dismounting a heavy-duty truck numerous times a day and regularly involves lifting (up to 50 - 75 pounds), pushing, pulling, and bending.

Backing skills are essential. Routes require drivers to navigate through congested communities and confined and/or tight areas in city and suburban locations.

Drivers are expected to communicate professionally with customers and dispatch at all times, and comply with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations and with Company policies.
Required:

High School Diploma/GED. Must be able to pass criminal background checks and drug testing.

Class A license required. (Manual transmission endorsement preferred)

Must have a valid DOT Medical Card

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and be at least 21 years of age.

Must be able to speak and read English at a level consistent with general conversation with the public and response to official questions and be able to understand and obey highway traffic signals.

Must have legible handwriting to complete paperwork for billing and prepare pre and post trip truck inspections.
Must be able to tolerate working in extreme hot/cold, wet/dry weather conditions.

LJP Waste Solutions is seeking a full-time Swing Driver.
Swing Drivers are responsible for completing both Semi and Roll-Off routes on an as-needed basis. Trucks and assignments may change daily based on operational demands. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to safely operate commercial vehicles while supporting transportation, hauling, and container delivery operations.
Semi Tractor Drivers transport trailers from customer locations to receiving areas or disposal sites while maintaining compliance with all CDL laws and safety regulations.
