CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Equipment Operator to join our growing Wash Division. This position plays a critical role in supporting tank washing operations, containment projects, yard activities, equipment transport, and overall operational efficiency. As an Equipment Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of equipment used in wash and containment operations, including:
- Operate forklifts, skid steers, pressure washers, water transfer pumps, and other assigned equipment.
- Load, unload, move, and stage tanks, containment systems, wash equipment, and related materials.
- Perform tank washing and equipment cleaning operations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and identify repair needs.
- Maintain inspection reports and equipment documentation.
- Support yard organization, housekeeping, and inventory control efforts.
- Transport equipment and materials between company locations and customer sites as assigned.
- Follow all company, customer, OSHA, and DOT safety standards.
- Assist other divisions as operational needs require.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, travel, and occasional call-outs as needed.
- Ability to work safely in an industrial outdoor environment.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and operational processes.
- Chauffeur's License (Louisiana Class D or Texas Class E).
- Experience operating forklifts, skid steers, pumps, trailers, or industrial equipment.
- Experience in oilfield services, industrial cleaning, tank washing, frac, tank, or rig operations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and preventive maintenance experience.
This is a hands-on position working outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Employees should be comfortable:
- Working in heat, cold, rain, mud, dust, and changing weather conditions.
- Standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the day.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Wearing required PPE, including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety-toe footwear.
