ArcelorMittal Tubular Products (AMTP) in Shelby, Ohio produces welded and seamless tubes that serve a variety of markets. We are seeking a skilled Plumber/Pipefitter to perform skilled repair of plumbing equipment (i.e., water and steam lines, sewer pipes, trap fittings, plumbing fixtures, pumps, regulators, valves, faucets, toilets, sinks, showers, heating, air conditioning, water softeners, low pressure boilers, cooling towers, etc. The position requires the flexibility to work any shift, overtime as needed, plus a 7-day work week when production demands.

Industrial Plumber/Pipefitter's Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receive work assignments from Supervisor and perform work with minimal amount of supervision.
· Review instructions and select proper tools and equipment need for work to be performed.
· Perform either temporary or permanent repairs.
· Report any unusual conditions to Supervisor.
· Complete work alone or in a team environment, in a timely manner.
Industrial Plumber/Pipefitter's Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent (required).
· Completion of journeyman certification in plumbing/pipefitting environment or 5 years of experience in industrial plumbing/pipefitting.
· Experience using various hand tools, wrenches, power hand tools, torches and required equipment to complete task.
· Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans.
· Candidate must possess the physical ability to frequently lift, climb stairs, stand, walk, crouch, squat, bend, kneel and move throughout the plant as needed.
· Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
· Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklift, scissor and articulating lifts.
· Participate actively in the training of other maintenance personnel.
· Observe all safety regulations.
